Asssassin's Creed: The Musical

I have been working with Machinima on the new music video, "Assassin's Creed: The Musical" that will be released alongside the new Assassin's Creed game, Unity.

I wrote the music for Joel Rubin's lyrics and the piece was directed by Brendan Bradley. We had a terrific cast on the project:  Matt Caplan (Bway's Rent, South Pacific Revival, Spiderman Turn Off The Dark, High Fidelity), Jonah Platt (HAIR Hollywood Bowl, a regular at Rockwell Stage including a Bway World Best Actor Nominee for BARE), Ben Palacios (SPANK! National Tour and youtube parody singer), Jaquita Ta'le (from the Hip Hop/R&B/Reggae group Nola Darling) and Bruce Green & Eliot Dewberry from Machinima's in-house show Inside Gaming.

The three song review uses both Broadway and YouTube talent and introduces a new, gamer audience to the format of live musical theatre.

Now that blasted “Leap of Faith” song is stuck in my head.

And doggone it if the songs aren’t downright catchy.

Don’t let the jokey tone fool you, though. Assassin’s Creed: The Musical boasts legit theatrical bona-fides. The music’s written by Cormac Bluestone (composer for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) and Joel Rubin, and the supporting cast includes accomplished actors and musicians like Matt Caplan, Jonah Platt, Ben Palacios, and Jaquita Ta’le of Nola Darling.
